Imagine having your garage door spring break late on the Friday before the July 4th weekend! We couldn't figure out how to get the door open and both cars were STUCK in the garage! We called our usual garage door service people around 4:00 pm on Friday but got their answering machine. We called again Saturday and left a second message. I have been a customer of Precision Garage Door for many years. They have replaced broken springs, performed general tune ups and installed a new opener. Most recently, the spring on the main door broke on the 4th of July. After my call, Vance was here to do the repair within 2 hours, on a holiday no less. What great service! The service technician, Vance was awesome; very knowledgeable, personable and efficient. Our doors are original equipment in a 35 yr old house so they will need to be replaced soon. We will be using precision. Highly recommended.

This was a second visit in less than 6 months, but for a new problem. One of our doors was misbehaving mysteriously. The scheduling was prompt. The technician spent a lot of time -- appropriately -- diagnosing the problem and making some adjustments to eliminate some possible causes, but finally concluded that the optical sensors were malfunctioning. We got a thorough description of the diagnosis and several levels of solution to choose from, taking into consideration of the age of the system and how we use it. The solutions ranged from "don't fix it" to a full replacement of the motor. We got practical advice and practical options. Our compromise choice was implemented immediately, with no charge for the fine tuning as part of the diagnostics. We continue to be very pleased with the service from the company.

Called one morning for non-working garage door. They arrived the same morning and found the problem. The cost to repair would have been more than I paid for the original opener. Therefore, I decided to get a new one and since my other garage door opener was the same age, I replace that one two, not wanting to get locked in my own garage.
