It was very easy to make an appointment and they were timely. Both gentlemen were professional, checked out the door mechanism before starting the work to make sure they knew exactly what needed to do and made sure we had all of our questions addressed. Precision Garage Door Service was great! Our old motor (not installed by Precision) went out and they sent a service tech out the very next day. Before he arrived, I received a text with his name and a photo. Apparently rogue companies are pretending to be Precision employees...yikes! Jacob was very friendly and confidence inspiring. He talked us through the available models with no attempt to upsell. He offered a senior discount on parts. I do wish he'd told me in advance to download and register with the app so he could help us get that going. We finally did this a week later and were flummoxed by some of the prompts. This is a tiny detail that could improve service. I would also love it if service techs would write the model and serial numbers on the manual. Otherwise, we are very happy with the service we received and the new garage door opener. I definitely recommend them.

Garage door technician Alex showed up on time and did a fine job; above and beyond, in that he found something that could have become a problem and "nipped it in the bud" with a simple fix. I'd called on the company because of an "ad special" it was running for a Tune Up service. I'm very glad I called, and will likely remain a customer going forward.

I was very pleased with the garage door tune up that I received from Precision Garage Door. The service technician (Alex Golsan) arrived just when he said he would, did a very thorough tune up, explained several things to me, and was fast and efficient! What really impressed me was that Alex fixed a couple of extra items with my door that had never been properly done from the original door installation. Imagine having your garage door spring break late on the Friday before the July 4th weekend! We couldn't figure out how to get the door open and both cars were STUCK in the garage! We called our usual garage door service people around 4:00 pm on Friday but got their answering machine. We called again Saturday and left a second message. Jacob, was on time, Courteous & Professional. He was not able to solve the error code immediately on our Lift Master....but after a call and consultation with other reps....He discovered that in addition to unplugging the unit....You have to ALSO, unplug the battery...30 seconds later....plugged in the battery + plugged the unit back in...and Voila, the error message disappeared. We are loyal Precision Customers. We chose Precision at our other Home in Beaverton, and elected to Have Precision's products and services here in Salem. I can recommend this Company without hesitation.

We were having problems with programming our garage door openers. We also had concern that our garage door opener was getting old. Jacob came and programmed all of our remotes without disturbing any that were already programmed. We also had concerned that the opener was getting old, but Jacob assured us it was in great shape. Total 5 star experience from start to finish! Opener broke in the evening, called in the next morning and a tech was at my home in an hour. He gave a thorough, easy to understand explanation of the problem and we decided to replace the old opener with an upgraded model. The tech, Jacob Johnson, had all the materials with him and completed the replacement process in about an hour. He did an excellent job of explaining all the features of the new opener, programmed our vehicles for us and also did a lube of both garage doors. Very knowledgeable, efficient, and personable tech! Jacob Johnson was my technician. He contacted me about 30 minutes before he got here. That gave me time to finish what I was doing. He listened to the whole story of the issues, and was able to fix most everything during the inspection. Like the loose rail causing the sensors to not work right. To sum it up, I gave him all stars because he was kind, courteous, respectful, and patient with me. He is a keeper folks.

I called in the AM for garage door repair of broken spring. The technician arrived in the PM as scheduled. Jacob provided input per my query of possible door replacement as well since my door was over 45 years old and in sorry shape. He promptly provided an estimate for the immediate spring need and also provided a quote for the better fix door replacement.
