Jacob, the technician, showed up at the time agreed upon. He showed me the chips of the old roller system. He also explained how the newer rollers are enclosed and will not have my current problem. Precision Garage Door Service was great! Our old motor (not installed by Precision) went out and they sent a service tech out the very next day. Before he arrived, I received a text with his name and a photo. Apparently rogue companies are pretending to be Precision employees...yikes! Jacob was very friendly and confidence inspiring. He talked us through the available models with no attempt to upsell. He offered a senior discount on parts. I do wish he'd told me in advance to download and register with the app so he could help us get that going. We finally did this a week later and were flummoxed by some of the prompts. This is a tiny detail that could improve service. I would also love it if service techs would write the model and serial numbers on the manual. Otherwise, we are very happy with the service we received and the new garage door opener. I definitely recommend them.

Precision Garage made the process of replacing our garage motor super convenient and quick. They kept our original quote despite the price increasing between the time we booked our repair and the time of installation. Beau our technician was super helpful and transparent about what options would be best for us. They also come within their service window with a lot of lead time which was very convenient. Our opener exploded a gear and the door jumped the track. David installed a new opener and refreshed the door with rollers and springs. Showed me how to set up the remotes. Very pleased with the whole process.

Found my tension spring broke on a Sunday and the garage door wouldn't open. I called Precision Monday morning and by 10am they were here. They were able to replace the spring and also found the center bearing was missing which caused the bar the spring was on to bend while rotating.

Nick is knowledgeable and shared the opens... my issue was that the spring broke and it needed to be replace. Getting the repair was not cheap, but the work was done in an hour and a half.

Jeffrey arrived on time, having called before coming. He inspected my failed garage door opener as well as the whole, original installation. He clearly described the problems and the options to repair, as well as stating the costs associated with each. I asked when he could do the work and he responded, "Right now!" Super! He went ahead, spending a few hours getting everything securely installed and cleaned up. It was fantastic! It was the kind of service call that I consider professional and fair. And he's a good guy in general -- I like him. I don't know what more anyone else could do. 5 stars.
